Go to a social media platform and post a call to your network. You could write:

“Hi every one! I heard about @democracyfitness and was wondering if there is any Democracy Fitness Trainers in [your country/region].”

If nothing else, you will have helped to start a conversation. Thank you!

Training and democracy presentations

Democracy Fitness can be used in many ways and contexts. The individual muscle training programs can easily stand alone and function as an active 30-minute break in an established group. A workout can also be combined with a presentation on Democracy Fitness as a concept and method or a presentation on participation and democracy innovation that provides insight into new ways of working with democracy and participation.

Masterclass in Democracy Fitness

Do you want Democracy Fitness Trainer on your CV? If you and others from your organization or workplace need a Masterclass so you can use Democracy Fitness in your work, write to us. We run regular full-days workshops and you can book us for an internal masterclass for you and your colleagues. You can see a list of open workshops here:

Who can participate?

Democracy Fitness is for everyone and can work both for a group that knows each other and for a group that needs to be shaken together. Democracy Fitness is also good if the participants are different ages, preferably young people and adults together, e.g. politicians / teachers / parents together with students / student council / youth committee.

Our Democracy Fitness trainers speak both Danish and English – and there are some trainers who can train in German.

For those who have tried Democracy Fitness but are not a trainer

We often find that participants in Democracy Fitness trainings get excited and want to share their experience with other colleagues, partners or citizens. This makes us very happy! When we get a common language for democracy and feel muscles like disagreement, active listening or empathy, it creates energy that many want to take further.
Of course we want to support this!

You are very welcome to:

  • Tell us about your experience with Democracy Fitness in your work or network
  • Use the metaphors and concepts you’ve picked up from the training
  • Inspire others to try a training or contact us for collaboration
However: It is important that you do not facilitate Democracy Fitness trainings yourself unless you are a certified trainer. The trainer training ensures that the training is conducted with quality, safety and credibility and that we take care of the method and the community we build together.
